President Herbert Hoover (September 1928): “I have watched with genuine admiration the steady and unmistakable progress made in the rehabilitation of Palestine which, desolate for centuries, is now renewing its youth and vitality through the enthusiasm, hard work, and self-sacrifice of the Jewish pioneers who toil there in a spirit of peace and social justice. It is very gratifying to note that many American Jews, Zionists as well as non-Zionists, have rendered such splendid service to this cause which merits the sympathy and moral encouragement of everyone.”
Here is a pertinent passage from the book Fear by Prof. Jan T. Gross:
Karski was prescient in his report The Jewish Problem in Poland Under the Occupation. He presented his observation to the government-in-exile while it was still in France, where he arrived as one of the earliest couriers of the Polish underground, during the first winter of the war:
All the passages and all the conclusions of Karski's report, were suppressed by his superiors. He was ordered to rewrite them in a way that covered up the intensity of Polish Jewish antagonism before the report was translated into English and French, so that Allied governments would not learn the truth.” It is doubtful that the Allies were fooled by this deception, but most certainly Karski's recommendations were ignored by the Polish government. To accept them would have required it to take a series of forceful and forward-looking political steps, which would have to run counter to sentiments prevailing among the Polish public. After all, even gestures as timid as official greetings on the occasion of the Jewish New Year were rebuffed in the homeland.

The manuscript of Karski's report can be found in the Hoover Institution archives in California (Stanislaw Mikolajczyk Collection, box 12) with handwritten inscriptions across the cover page: (“Attention!! Pages 6+9+10+11 have double pages.” Indeed, the double pages (6a,9a, 10a and 11a) were carefully prepared. They begin and exactly in the same place (once including a hyphenated word), for easy substitution. Karski was instructed, as he told me when I queried him about the document, to draft a sanitized version, omitting his description of the anti-Semitism prevailing in Polish society, by Prof. Stanislaw Kot, a close confidant of then prime minister W. Sikorski, Polish raison d'etat vis-a-vis the Allies required that the matter be covered up, he was told. Karski's report was found in the archives by David Engel and published in Jewish Social Studies, vol. XLV, no. 1 (Winter 1983) (177)

On November 14, 2007, Fox 5 broadcast aired syndicated TV episode of the sitcom “Back to you” all over the country. The show was presented in prime time and the ratings show that the episode titled “Something's up there” was watched by 7 3000 000 viewers. A journalist of Polish background named Gary Crezyzewski, happens to be one of the characters. In that particular episode his fellow, trying to talk him into representing a TV station in a bowling tournament, says to him: “Come on Crezyzewski, you're the best bowler at this station. It's in your Polish blood, like kielbasa, collaborating with the Nazis.” These words are followed by a studio generated sitcom laughter, clearly louder than at other moments. Crezyzewski himself does not react to those remarks in any way. In my letter to Fox network I asked: Do you believe that after a transfusion of “Polish” blood one becomes an instant antisemite?

Polish or Anglo-American Death Camps?

Trying to explain why he was forced to sanitize his report, consider the activities of one Freya Stark. In the middle of the war, the British government sent Freya Stark (During World War II, she joined the Ministry of Information and contributed to the creation of a propaganda network aimed at persuading Arabs to support the Allies or at least remain neutral) , a pro-Arab archaeologist and author, on extensive lecture tour of the U.S. Her mission was to build American support for British policies, especially for those regarding Palestine. Miss Stark, a non-Jew, was impressed by the amount of anti-Semitism she ran across among well-to-do (representing the “aristocratic principle of Nature”), well-educated Americans.

Dr. L. M. Birkhead, a Protestant clergyman and close observer of anti-Semitic trends, traveled through the Midwest in 1943. He found vicious anti-Jewish attitudes rampant not only among extremist groups, but also in the “best circles.” The respectable elements, he thought, would probably not support violence, but neither would they oppose it. It was during the war, too, that anti-Jewish hatreds that had been sown and nurtured for years ripened into some extremely bitter fruits. In the opinion of the British elites and their American admirers such as for example, Clare Booth Luce a prototype of Mary Robinson), the lower classes and the Jews were considered the mongrel i.e. weak, subhuman races of the world, and as such, should be exterminated, which, by the way became the core teaching of the present New Agers.

In 1943 British officials expressed their fears to the State Department that Germany might “change over from a policy of extermination to one of extrusion and aim at embarrassing other countries by flooding them with alien immigrants.” In 1944 both British and American officials worried that “Germans might play the card of offering an unmanageable number of refugees to the UN.” The fate of Jewish people was thus sealed. The Jewish cause still had formidable foes in Washington; for example, Gen. George C. Marshall, the Chief of Staff of the Army and a powerful figure in the capital, was able to kill a proposed Senate resolution in 1944 favoring free emigration to Palestine in order to promote “a free and democratic Jewish commonwealth” when he cited military problems it would cause in the Middle East. Later, Marshall would oppose the creation of a Jewish state altogether.

In an editorial A Dwarf Between Giants in the Chicago Tribune of Sunday Feb. 6, 1944, appears a statement that the British Foreign Office has generally run America’s foreign affairs for fifty years, and that for the past eleven years the British have had no difficulty in guiding our policy.

After the war, pressure on US President Truman resulted in his timid appeal to the British government in 1945 to admit 100,000 Jewish refugees from Europe into Palestine. The British responded by inviting the US to participate in an Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry into the whole Palestinian situation. The Committee in its 1946 report agreed that Palestine could absorb 100,000 more Jews from the camps of Europe (Encyclopedia Americana ed. 2001). Now, suddenly, there is enough room for 3 million Palestinians in Israel! And they accept partition! The British Empire wants to regain its Palestine Mandate!

During WWII the people in the State Department who were most closely associated with the rescue of Jews were Assistant Secretary Breckenridge Long and several middle-level officials. They included George Brandt, Long’s executive assistant, James Dunn and Wallace Murray, departmental advisers on political relations, Ray Atherton, acting chief of the Division of European Affairs, Howard Travers, chief of the Visa Division, and a number of lesser officers, especially R. Borden Reams. These men were indifferent to the tragedy of the European Jews. Randolph Paul of the Treasury Department described them as an American “underground movement…to let the Jews be killed.” That was confirmed by an eighteen-page memorandum on State Department obstruction entitled Report to the Secretary (of Treasury) on the Acquiescence of This Government in the Murder of the Jews. Led by DuBois, the Foreign Funds Control staff prepared this searing indictment, which charged that the State Department was “guilty not only of gross procrastination and willful failure to act, but even of willful attempts to prevent action from being taken to rescue Jews from Hitler.

The Polish delegate to the UN, Drohojewski said on May 11, 1949:

“It was not long since the British Foreign Office had tried and failed to prevent the creation of Israel. United Kingdom and US diplomacy had been ready to betray the new State before its birth. The US Government’s change of policy with regard to Israel had occurred for reasons of political expediency divorced from any sense of justice or faith in Israel’s future. That should not be forgotten…”

The Times reports that USAID (the U.S. Agency for International Development) has provided more than $140,000 in assistance to the Hamas-controlled Islamic University in Gaza - including scholarships to 49 of its students - though Congress changed the law in 2004 to restrict aid to entities or individuals “involved in or advocating terrorist activity”. The United States plans to announce tens of millions of dollars in new aid for the West Bank and Gaza next week to ease the humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territories, US officials said on Friday.
 The funds will be channeled through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees, which handles US and other aid for food, health, education and other areas, said US officials, who would not give an exact figure as the announcement will be made on a trip to the region next week.
A large chunk of the funding will go to Gaza, where an economic blockade has led to a worsening humanitarian crisis, culminating in hundreds of thousands of people crossing over into Egypt last month after the border was breached. During the post-Farouk era, the Grand Mufti held court at a closely guarded villa on Sharia Assuit Street in Heliopolis, a suburb of Cairo. There he entertained delegations from throughout the Arab world while maintaining close contact with nazis from Germany and other countries. Among those who gathered at the Mufti’s house during the mid-1950s was the distant cousin, Yassir Arafat, then an engineering student at the University of Cairo. Baron, a prominent British fascist, Skorzeny was instrumental in funneling more than a million dollars, which the Mufti had raised for anti-Zionist and anti-Jewish propaganda, to various no-Nazi groups around the world.
Several German propaganda experts adopted Arabic names when they emigrated to Egypt. Johann von Leers, one of the Third Reich’s most prolific Jew-baiters, converted to Islam and became Omar Amin. He got a job with the Egyptian Information Ministry, thanks to the good offices of the Grossmufti. With von Leers in charge, Cairo’s anti-Israeli propaganda machine churned out hate literature and inflammatory broadcasts on a regular basis. Assisting von Leers were dozens of European Nazis who welcomed a fresh opportunity to continue their vendetta against the Jews. They had regular access to Radio Cairo, which utilized a powerful CIA-constructed transmitter to spread the message throughout much of the Arab world.

As the leader of the General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS) in Egypt, Arafat was invited to attend a Social International meeting of students in Prague in 1955. Al Fatah was founded in secret by Khalil al-azir, known as Abu Jihad, and Yasir Arafat in later 1959 (Four years after Arafat's trip to Prague) in Kuwait which was then a British protectorate. In every issue, Zavtra, (See below) a leading Russian ultranationalist and anti-Semitic weekly praised “Comrade Arafat” and justifies Palestinian suicide bombers, calling them heroic fighters who are punishing the Israeli occupiers (See, Jewish Sentinel, June 1-13, 02, pp. 6,27). Recall that “Comrade Arafat” was embraced by Pope John Paul II 14 times!
PLO’s Rome representative, Nemer Hammad said that the Pope's audience would "persuade Western countries" that the PLO could be a constructive force. The same argument was made by Julius Berman, chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, in criticizing the Pope's invitation to and private audience for the PLO chief. As quoted in the New York Times article “In fact,'' Mr. Berman said, ''the embrace that the Pope gave to this murderer of children was taken by the world to confer legitimacy on him, and exploited by Arafat to that end.''
In other words, by embracing Arafat, the Pope made it easier for heads of state who, absent the papal example, might have been afraid to embrace the butcher of Munich. Ranan Naim of the opposition Labor Party told Israel radio on Sunday he could not understand how a Christian leader could meet with “a man who has brought so much suffering to the Christians of Lebanon.”

On Sept. 20, 2001 Pres. Bush said: “They wanted to drive Israel of the Middle East.”

On June 12, 2002 Barry Schweid of the Associated Press reported “Powell Says Palestinians May Have An Interim State; U.S. Intends To Deal With Arafat”. Powell told reporters that the administration was talking to other countries about setting up a provisional Palestinian state and taking up the idea at a Mideast Peace Conference this summer. Without saying which countries, Powell said, “an interim state would create a ‘political horizon’”.
Ari Fleischer coolly diminished Powel’s statements as pieces of advice that Bush might or might not heed: “Powell was parroting advice he had heard from foreign leaders rather than stating his own conclusions…which is his prerogative...

Hamas's Predecessors

In January 1978, Abu Nidal had launched a campaign of assassination against PLO moderates, especially those in contact with Israeli peacniks or who advocated a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian problem. In that months the PLO's representative in London, Sa'id Hammani, was shot dead by Kayid Hussein, one of Abu Nidal's Tunisian gunmen. That summer Abu Nidal's organization struck at Ali yassin, Fatah spokesman in Kuwait, Izz al-Din, its man in France and narrowly missed Yusif Abu Hantash, in the PLO's Islamabad. In 1981 they killed Heinz Nittal, a Vienna city councillor and close friend of chancellor Kreisky, in a clear warning that the latter should halt his attempts to develop Israeli-Palestinian dialogue. The pLO knew exactly who was to blame, firing rockets into the Iraqi embassy in Beirut and attacking Nidal's offices in Tripoli. Although some claim that Nidal's strategy was being 'manipulated' by Israeli agents secreted within his organization, this seems unlikely, given that his terrorists simultaneously carried out attacks against soft Israeli and Jewish targets across Europe like shooting up worshipers in a Viennese synagogue and throwing grenades into a party of schoolchildren in Antwerp. In April 1983 Budal's men murdered the prominent PLO dove Isam Sartawi at a socialist conference in Portugal. Abu Nidal insisted on the old Communist practice of making recruits constantly rewrite their autobiographies, with the slightest inconsistency resulting in bouts of monstrous torture in Section 16, the interrogation and punishment block. Those who failed this test ended up buried in the desert.

Palestinian Campaign for an Election That May Not Be Held
Campaigning for Palestinian legislative elections opened Tuesday despite doubts about whether the vote will actually take place on Jan. 25.Fatah is looking for reasons to postpone the elections, because of fears that Hamas will win more than 40% of the 132 seats at stake and become either the most powerful political force of a sizable blocking minority in the future legislature. Many Fatah veterans would rather have no election than hand over such power to Hamas. Hamas opposes another delay in the vote, having already agreed to Mr. Abbas’s request to move the election from July to this month. (New York Times, Jan 4, 2006)

Mortimer B. Zuckerman in his article Facing up to hellish truth for The Daily News of Feb. 6 wrote: “In 2002, President Bush called on the Palestinians to elect a leadership “uncompromised by terror.” He has now been directly refuted – and his administration bears a special responsibility for this result in its obsessive pressure to hold elections at any price, and on time. Secretary of State Rice hazards her credibility when she says that no one foresaw Hamas winning. Hello? The Israelis warned, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas asked for a postponement and was overruled.”

The Bush policy of of promoting Hamas's election victory was closely following the British sabotage of Partition which was deliberately undertaken in order to insure British base rights in Palestine in perpetuity, as well as to safeguard British oil and trade and military interests in the Middle East

And now, consider these publications; in an article in the Saudi daily Al-Riyadh, ‘Adel Bin Zayd Al-Tarifi, a Saudi researcher at the European Research Institute of Birmingham, U.K. presents a scathing critique of the Hamas leadership and its willingness to forgo international aid and live off “wild thyme and olives.” The author assured his readers that Hamas Doesn’t Truly Believe in Democracy; Nazis in Germany and Fascists in Italy also won at the Ballot Box. Tzipi Livni was inspired by this article when in Moscow she stated that "Elections are not some kind of a washing machine whereby a terrorist organization can wash itself. Terror is terror.” And genocide is genocide.

Sheikh Ahmed Ismail Yassin, regularly denounced Arafat and the PLO leadership as “pork eaters, and wine drinkers” who even allowed women into their senior councils. Arriving in Kuwait after being expelled from Gaza one of Hamas's leaders, Halil Koka announced: “Allah brought the Jews together in Palestine not to benefit from a homeland but to dig their grave there and save the world from their pollution. Just as the Muslim pilgrim redeems his soul in Mecca by offering up a sacrifice, so the Jews will be slaughtered on the rocks of al-Aqsa.”
In addition to money coming from both Saudi Arabia and Iran, Hamas built a vast charitable money-laundering operation that had important nodal points in the USA.

In his weekly column, veteran journalist Abed al-Rahman Rashad, CEO of the Arab news agency Al-Arabiya, demanded: “Those that are now asking for the help of Arab governments – shouldn’t they be asking themselves who asked the Arab nations for advice before they kidnapped the soldier, or carried out any other operations that would lead to a conflict which has no chance of success, and would incur enormous damages like the ones we see in Gaza?

Seymour Hersh in his interview (The President Has Accepted Ethnic Cleansing) for SpiegelOnline of Sept. 28, 2007 said: “We have this wonderful capacity to Hitlerize people. We had Hitler, and since then we had about 20 of them. Khrushchev and Mao and, of course, Stalin, and for a little while Gadhafi was our Hitler. And now we have this guy Ahmadinejad. The reality is, he is not nearly as powerful inside the country as we like to think he is.”

Consider this revealing fact, more than 7,600 rockets have battered communities in the western Negev since the outbreak of the Oslo War in 2000, most recently striking the coastal city of Ashkelon. A high ranking officer of the Polish Army divulged to a journalist of Gazeta Wyborcza, that even Poland, a nation of 38 million doesn't possess this many rockets. So it's obvious who pays for the rockets that fall on Israel and terrorize its population. And yet they talk about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and about humanitarian aid for its population. By the way by what ways are all those missiles smuggled into Gaza. Let me divulge here the political purpose of this ceaseless shelling of rockets in this particular area of Israel

What has not yet been broadly acknowledged is that the Genocide Convention criminalizes not only the various acts of genocide but also (Article III) conspiracy to commit genocide and direct and public incitement to commit genocide.. The Egyptian government closed down the one and only English-language newspaper in the country. The corrupt war criminal was received 14 times by Pope John Paul II and 6 times by Pres. B. Clinton.

Some members of the Arab lobby in America are heavily financed with money from the Arab world. As Jacob Laksin recently detailed in FrontPageMagazine, for instance, the Atlanta-based Carter Center (founded by Jimmy Carter in 1982) has been a longtime recipient of Arab funding. Before his death in 2005, Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd made several large donations to the Center, including a 1993 gift of $7.6 million. As of 2005, the king’s nephew, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, had given at least $5 million to the Carter Center. In 2001 the United Arab Emirates (UAE) gave the Center $500,000. The previous year, ten of Osama bin Laden’s brothers had jointly pledged $1 million, as did Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman in 1998. The Saudi Fund for Development has been another major contributor, as has the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. And Morocco’s Prince Moulay Hicham Ben Abdallah has collaborated with the Carter Center on various initiatives. 

If Zbigniew Brzezinski had his way, the US would go to war against Israel to defend Iran's nuclear installations. In an interview with the Daily Beast Web site last weekend, the man who served as former US president Jimmy Carter's national security adviser said, "They [IAF fighter jets] have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch? We have to be serious about denying them that right. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not."
Brzezinski has long distinguished himself as one of the most outspoken Israel-haters in polite circles in Washington. Under normal circumstances, his remarks could be laughed off as the ravings of a garden variety anti-Semite. But these are not normal circumstances. Brzezinski served as a senior foreign policy adviser to Barack Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign, and his views are not terribly out of place among Obama's senior advisers in the White House. In an interview in 2002, Samantha Powers, who serves as a senior member of Obama's national security council, effectively called for the US to invade Israel in support of the Palestinians.

The fact of the matter is that Brzezinski's view is in line with the general disposition of Obama's foreign policy. Since entering office, Obama has struck a hard-line position against Israel while adopting a soft, even apologetic line toward Iran and its allies. For eight months, Obama has sought to force Israel to the wall. He has loudly and repeatedly ordered the Netanyahu government to prevent all private and public construction for Jews in Israel's capital city and its heartland in order to facilitate the eventual mass expulsion of Jews from both areas, which he believes ought to become part of a Jew-free Palestinian state.
