The IDF Spokesperson’s office is reporting that a delegation of some 60 IDF commanders arrived in Poland on Monday, April 16, as part of the Witnesses in Uniform program. Guided by educators from the Yad VaShem Holocaust Memorial Museum, the officers started a four day study of pre-war Poland, the Holocaust, and contemporary Jewish Polish life. “It is very, very difficult to talk about the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. It’s impossible to comprehend such a number. So the way to make it as comprehensible as possible is through the personal narrative,” said Cpt. Liat Carmi, who oversees the program. This is the 169th Witnesses in Uniform group sent to Poland by the IDF, which plans to send a total of 16 groups just this year. The trip does not focus only the horrors of the Holocaust. “We are talking about a thousand years of Jewish history in Poland,” said Cpt. Carmi. The participants stayed in Warsaw and Krakow, and visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp and other memorial sites. At some of the sites, the soldiers held military memorial services. The participants concluded each day of the journey with a reflective discussion. Commanders explored issues such as how to incorporate the ethical lessons gleaned from the journey into their leadership as commanders, how to convey the history of the Holocaust to the soldiers under their command, and how the Holocaust influences their identities as IDF soldiers.

The IDF canceled a $150 million contract to develop and manufacture drones with the Turkish military after Ankara demanded an apology following the Mavi Marmara flotilla attempt to breach Israel's maritime blockade of Gaza. “The Israelis have bought an airfield,” an official told the journalist, “and the airfield is called Azerbaijan.” The Americans believe Israel may use the site as a springboard for an attack on Iran's nuclear plants, or as a landing and refueling spot following one. The site could also be used for aircraft needed for search, rescue and recovery in the wake of an attack.

UNSC rejects Palestine's bid for membership

The UN Security Council Committee for Admission of New Members was unable to endorse Palestine's bid to join the ranks of this international organization. The draft report circulated at the UN headquarters in New York said that the votes of the committee's 15 Member States were divided. On October 31, Palestine was granted full UNESCO membership. More than 40,000 people have been killed in conflicts involving the PKK during the past over two decades.

Madison Grant's Nordic Theory

Grant is most famously the author of the popular book The Passing of the Great Race in 1916, an elaborate work of racial hygiene detailing the "racial history" of Europe. Coming out of Grant's concerns with the changing "stock" of American immigration of the early 20th century (characterized by increased numbers of immigrants from Southern and Eastern Europe, as opposed to Western and Northern Europe), Passing of the Great Race was a "racial" interpretation of contemporary anthropology and history, stating race as the basic motor of civilization. Similar ideas were proposed by Gustav Kossinna in Germany. Grant promoted the idea of the "Nordic race"—a loosely defined biological-cultural grouping rooted in Scandinavia—as the key social group responsible for human development; thus the subtitle of the book was The racial basis of European history. As an avid eugenicist, Grant further advocated the separation, quarantine, and eventual collapse of "undesirable" traits and "worthless race types" from the human gene pool and the promotion, spread, and eventual restoration of desirable traits and "worthwhile race types" conducive to Nordic society: A rigid system of selection through the elimination of those who are weak or unfit—in other words social failures—would solve the whole question in one hundred years, as well as enable us to get rid of the undesirables who crowd our jails, hospitals, and insane asylums. The individual himself can be nourished, educated and protected by the community during his lifetime, but the state through sterilization must see to it that his line stops with him, or else future generations will be cursed with an ever increasing load of misguided sentimentalism. URUMQI, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan said member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) should consider setting up a free trade agreement (FTA) which, once in place, would cover about three fifths of the Eurasia's landmass. Zhong told a forum at the on-going China-Eurasia Expo in the northwestern city of Urumqi that such a FTA will further facilitate trade and create a sound environment for pragmatic regional economic cooperation. "Eying the trend of economic globalization, Beijing considers that SCO members should discuss the possibility of setting up a FTA within the organization at a proper time," the vice minister said. The SCO, founded in Shanghai in June 2001, groups China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The six member states cover an area of over 30 million square kilometers, or about three fifths of Eurasia, with a population of 1.455 billion, about a quarter of the world's total. Trade among SCO members grew seven times over the past decade to reach 8.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2010, Zhong said, adding that significant progress had also made in the cooperation on energy, transportation, and telecommunications. In November 2009, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev presented a draft proposal on a new European security agreement as an alternative to NATO. The document called the United States, the European Union and Russia the "three branches of European civilization," and assigned priority to the UN's role in international affairs.

Halley found the same astrological belief in Newton’s work. Fatah has revived its youth, and clung to armed resistance as a tool of struggle to establish the Palestinian State, akin to the tool of diplomacy and negotiations. But this is not enough, as Hamas has appointed itself as sole custodian over the issue of the conflict with Israel. Thus, it is waiting for a new test for the "patriotism" of Fatah after its sixth conference.

While Fatah has chosen "Palestine first" without investing the tragedies of the distressed in the stocks of "the superpowers" in the game of nations, will Hamas be harmed if it reconsiders the cause of the homeland as a top priority, before any regime or political program? It cannot indeed deny its endeavor to obtain a western recognition of it, and open a dialogue with it. But does the closed eye in the West Bank or Gaza view the fact that the west, be it Europe or the United States, does not give anything with its right hand without taking another thing in the left hand in The ancient Fatah members deserve to be excluded. They have monopolized Palestine for the sake of their power, interests, and desires, and contributed alongside the Gaza authority in fragmenting the dream of the state-nation. Will Hamas learn the lesson and close its eyes to anything farther than the border of Palestine, and turn a deaf ear to any advice other than that calling for urgent unity, in order to atone for what all other factions have caused for people who are fed up with despair and the bitterness of the daggers of brothers that have become more fatal than Israeli rockets. Not enthusiastic about Fatah or Hamas, right?

On March 3, 1919, King of Hedjaz Faisal wrote a letter to Felix Frankfurter, later justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, a letter memorable for its humanity toward the Jews and the statesmanship it reflected. Palestinian state means a secular revolution in the area considered as the cradle of the monotheistic religions which still influence the minds of overwhelming majority of humanity. Changing Islam into a Mundane (Buddhist) Ideology

Dr. Rantisi, Hamas's dead leader used to argue that Allah - many times wrongly translated as 'God' - is not the God of the Bible, nor the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Allah is another deity, one who drinks blood as water, who loves jihad and terror, and promises virgins in his so-called paradise to those who kill Jews - the more the better. Accordingly, we learn from a Palestinian post stamp that the true god of Palestine is Baal-Zephon who was a principal mighty one of Ugait or Ras Shamra, and of the Canaanite people who lived in that area of Syria. In other words Palestinian God is not the God of the Holy Qur'an who is the same as the God of the Bible and creates the world exactly, like YHWH does, and gives the Jews their Promised land:

The scientists who will speak at the Sapienza University conference agree with Nobel Prize-winning biochemist Sir Ernst Chain, who said that evolution was an "hypothesis based on no evidence and irreconcilable with the facts."

The conference coincides with one being held by the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, which refused to allow the scientists with evidence against the theory of evolution to participate in their event.

The scientists participating in the conference at Sapienza University are not creationists. They represent thousands of world-renowned scientists whose evidence against evolution is often downplayed or ignored by academics who support evolution. Rejecting Galileo's Confidence Tricks
An investigation into … [Galileo's] condemnation was opened in 1979 by Pope John Paul II. A papal commission, set up in 1982, produced several scholarly publications related to the trial. In October 1992 the commission acknowledged the error of the church’s officials. In a speech accepting the report John Paul, alluding to Galileo’s views on scripture and science, said that Galileo, “a sincere believer, showed himself to be more perceptive in this regard than the theologians who opposed him.”

The copy of Copernicus's book owned by Johannes Kepler has an inscription indicating that Andreas Osiander Andreas Osiander (Andreas Hosemann) (Ansbach, Bavaria, 19 December, 1498 – 17 October 1552 in Königsberg, Prussia) was a German Lutheran theologian, (Career: 1498-1552) was the anonymous author of the foreword. Its former owner had also marked two sections, which were later to become important in Kepler's thinking: a query on whether the center of the universe was the Sun or the center of the Earth's orbit. He could not fathom Copernicus's dialectics!

Galileo was a rather celebrated and frequent visitor to the Jesuit Roman College. His friendship with members of the Society of Jesus started in 1587, when, at the age of 23, he met Clavius, and continued for the rest of his life. The number and contents of Galileo's letters to Clavius show that he was a good friend of Clavius. The latter was able to needle Galileo about seeing Jupiter's four moons only because Galileo drew them on the lens of his telescope (One of his many confidence tricks).

The Phallic Architecture of Al-Aqsa Mosque Foreshadowed the Rise of Western Heliocentrism.

This Aryan solar philosophy informed the Pythagorean Notebooks (not later than 100 B.C.) in which we find the following train of thoughts: the hot predominates in the heavenly bodies, and this is cause of life; the kinship between gods and human beings is due to the fact that “a human being shares in the hot” (VIII.27) “All things live which share in the hot...but not all have the psyche. The psyche is a fragment (apospasma) of celestial aether...and it is immortal, because what it comes from is immortal.” The role of the heat as a mark of divinity recalls the dominant position of fire in Stoic thought. We find the same view in even older beliefs. For instance, in the famous Potidaea inscription of 432 B.C. “the aether received their psychai, the earth received their bodies.”

Ismail Haniyeh wrote Tuesday, July 11, 2006 i.e. on the eve of the war in Lebanon, in The Washington Post: “If Israel is prepared to negotiate seriously and fairly, and resolve the core 1948 issues, rather than the secondary ones from 1967, a fair and permanent peace is possible.” Palestinian educational television teaches that all of Israel belongs to the Palestinians. It teaches that if "Palestine," which includes all of Israel, is not whole, it endangers the entire Arab world, because "Palestine" is the heart of the Arab world (What about Mecca, where millions of pilgrims are arriving every year). encompasses all of Israel. In other words, Haniyeh wants Israel to surrender. Well, the Palestinian history textbooks present Semites as a racially inferior people using the words of Lord Cromer, or Renan.
An independent Palestinian state is a powerful ticking bomb in the heart of the Arab World.

Peled: No settlement freeze deal

Minister-without-Portfolio Yossi Peled on Tuesday denied that there had been a deal on freezing settlement construction.
"There is no agreement whatsoever on the issue of a construction freeze in settlements," he said. "I have heard about developments with my own ears, and believe me, I am the primary source of information."
During a Tel Aviv conference for the 'Preservation of Jerusalem and the Golan Heights,' Peled said that "Jerusalem is our symbol, we'll live anywhere we want there."
He went on to say that during Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's recent trip to Germany, the premier had been assured that "Jews will continue to build and live in Jerusalem."

Lieberman wants 'new Israeli foreign policy'

The policy staff in Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's office has drawn up a secret memo calling for a radical refocus of Israeli foreign policy toward the developing world, The Jerusalem Post has learned.
According to sources, the foreign minister plans to bring the five-page preliminary policy paper to the ministry's senior professional staff in the coming days, to begin discussion on implementing what is being described as "guidelines for a whole new foreign policy."
According to a copy of the memo obtained by the Post, the new policy involves moving away from a "lone dependence" on the United States as a strategic ally, to developing broader and closer ties with other world powers and with the developing world.
The document, which was developed in recent weeks at Lieberman's request, focuses on three major shifts in policy: expanding ties with parts of the world "neglected" by previous governments, lowering international expectations of a breakthrough in negotiations with the Palestinians and creating a "zero-tolerance" policy for anti-Semitic expressions worldwide.
The memo chastises the Foreign Ministry for "becoming the 'Ministry for Palestinian Affairs,' with Israeli foreign policy almost entirely consumed by this single issue."

B. Clinton unhappy with Russian Israelis

The former US President Bill Clinton feels that Russian immigrants and settlers in the Middle East are the main barrier in the way of reaching a settlement in the region. He told the Global Initiative conference in New York that Israel’s Russian-speaking population is the least interested in concluding an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement.
